Cornerstone Community Bank’s Ooltewah Branch Celebrates 5th Anniversary
posted October 13, 2009

Cornerstone Community Bank will commemorate the fifth anniversary of its Ooltewah branch on Thursday, with a day of food, fun and celebration, featuring a special live performance that afternoon by the Ooltewah High School Pep Band, Red Hots dance group and cheerleading squad.

“This occasion is indeed cause for celebration,” said Cornerstone Community Bank President Frank Hughes. “The Ooltewah/Collegedale area has experienced exponential growth and development since we first opened our doors there in 2004. We’re just proud to be part of such a vital, progressive community.”

The public is invited to join in the celebration this Thursday. There will be giveaways all day long, a drawing for a $100 savings bond, a celebrity guest appearance at noon by “Top Dog” grill chef Darrel Patterson of News Channel 9, plus a birthday cake-cutting ceremony at 2 p.m., with Ooltewah and Collegedale city officials. The Ooltewah High School band, dance and cheerleading groups will be performing from 3-4:30 p.m.

Cornerstone Community Bank’s Ooltewah branch is located at 8966 Old Lee Highway, and is the newest branch in the Cornerstone “family.” Currently the oldest and largest community bank in the Hamilton County MSA, Cornerstone Community Bank was founded in 1995, and has branches throughout Chattanooga, plus a loan production office in Dalton, Ga.
