Corker To Hold Lunchtime Town Hall Meeting In Bledsoe County

Senator Bob Corker, R-Tn., will hold a lunchtime town hall meeting at the Main Street Diner in Pikeville on Monday, Oct. 26. The event is open to the public, and citizens are welcome to purchase lunch “Dutch treat” as Sen. Corker provides an update on his work in Washington and takes questions from diners.

The meeting will mark Sen. Corker’s 37th county visit and 27th town hall meeting since the beginning of August.

Tennesseans seeking more information about the event should contact Sen. Corker’s Chattanooga field office at 423 756-2757.

The event will be a Bledsoe County “Dutch Treat” luncheon, at 11:45 a.m. CDT, at the Main Street Diner, 2993 Main Street, Pikeville, Tn.

Sen. Corker was elected to the United States Senate in 2006. He is a member of the Banking, Energy, and Foreign Relations committees and ranking member of the Special Committee on Aging. He grew up in Chattanooga and graduated from the University of Tennessee. He was a successful businessman before serving as Tennessee’s commissioner of finance and as mayor of Chattanooga.
