The East Ridge Lions Club will have a Chili Cook-off and dinner on Friday, Nov. 13 at Jones Memorial UMC (4131 Ringgold Road, East Ridge).
The cook-off judging will be at 6 p.m. and dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. There will be a prize of $100 for 1st, $50 for 2nd and $25 for 3rd place.
The entry fee is $5 per chili recipe entered. All entries must be donated to the chili supper and come in either a 2-quart or larger metal pot or crock-pot.
Dinner tickets are $6 and include a bowl of chili with fixings, dessert and drink. Hot dogs will be available for $2 for children who do not eat chili.
