Southtree Digital Offers Free Photo Digitizing Preview
posted November 3, 2009

Southtree Digital Media invites the public to bring a home video or photo to their open house on Nov. 13, from 4-7 p.m. Southtree will digitize the item to DVD for free.

The event begins with a ribbon-cutting at 4 p.m. at Southtree’s location at 3001 South Broad Street. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is helping with arrangements for the event.

Southtree offers home movie and photo digitizing, converting your old videotapes, film reels, and photos to DVD.

Nick Macco, the director of marketing at Southtree, said, “If you're like most people, your family history is tucked away in an attic somewhere. Most people are surprised at the degradation that has already occurred when they finally decide to look at them again. At Southtree, we convert all your home movies and photos to digital, preserving them for generations to come.”

Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served at the open house which follows the ribbon-cutting.

“We are thrilled to invite the community in to see what we do, and help the Chattanooga area connect generations of their families through our services,” Mr. Macco said.
