Thompson Springs Baptist Church in Bradley County was destroyed by fire early Thursday morning.
The church is located just off Bates Pike in Cleveland.
The fire broke out shortly after 3 a.m.
Crews from Polk and Hamilton counties helped to fight the blaze.
A new sanctuary that is still under construction was not damaged.
