Retired Nurse With Hospice

Mary Elizabeth Norwood, 62, of Dayton, died on Friday, November 6, 2009 in an area hospital.
Mrs. Norwood retired as a nurse from Hospice of Chattanooga and was a member of Dayton Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and June Elmore and brother, Monty Elmore.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Norwood of Dayton; sons, Doug Eves, Aaron Norwood and Adam Norwood; daughter, Kelly Ott; brothers, Mike Elmore and Jimmy Elmore and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, at Dayton Church of Christ, with Steve Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Monday at Dayton Church of Christ.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, P.O. Box, P.O. Box 19269, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.
