Dodd Asks Court Ruling On Sale Creek Shooting Range
posted November 9, 2009

Ronnie Dodd is asking Chancery Court to rule that the County Board of Zoning Appeals does not have the right to reconsider its approval for a shooting range in Sale Creek.

A number of neighbors have expressed concern about the shooting range at 2107 Leggett Road.

The shooting range gained initial approval by the Board of Zoning Appeals, then neighbors approached the County Commission. The commission finally asked the zoning board to reconsider its approval.

The petition for a declaratory judgment says the zoning board does not have authority to reconsider the matter.

Mr. Dodd, a former Red Bank Police chief, is represented by attorney Arnold Stulce Jr.
