BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee launched its first Silver Life Center (SLC) on Monday at its headquarters in Chattanooga to offer a one-stop health resource center for area seniors. According to the U.S. Census Bureau the number of seniors in Tennessee is expected to nearly double by 2025.
The SLC is designed to offer services to seniors with membership in a BlueCross health plan, but will accommodate any senior or relative caregiver seeking information or services regardless of their membership status. Services such as wellness and care management, educational resources and access to the Internet will be available.
