Mrs. Couch was the daughter of the late Jewell Gibson Nicholson and Roscoe Nicholson; and was also preceded in death by her husbands, R.M. Cronan and Kenny Seeley; and brother, James Nicholson.
Martha was a member of Galilee Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Robert M. Cronan of Cleveland and Scotty Cronan of Vidalia, Ga.; one grandson, Robert M. Cronan Jr. of Cleveland; three sisters, Betty Williams and her husband Steve of Calhoun, Elaine Chastain and her husband Jimmie and Annie Sue Townsend and her husband Bruce all of Fairmont, Ga.; very special friends, Lester Norwood and Sharon Norwood; four nephews; one niece; and ten great-nieces and nephews also survive.
The Remembrance of Life Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. from the Wildwood Avenue Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Reverend Gilbert Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery in Charleston.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Jim Rush Funeral Homes, Wildwood Avenue Chapel who has charge of arrangements.
