Valleybrook Golf and Country Club is hosting a golf outing to benefit Toys For Tots on Friday.
Toys For Tots is an initiative of the United States Marine Corps to collect Christmas toys for underprivileged children.
Jim Roberts said, "We have a full field of 144 golfers who will each contribute at least one toy for this cause. If you would like to help us in this endeavor, you may bring a toy to Valleybrook any time Friday.
"We would certainly appreciate your generosity, but the real beneficiary is the kid who, otherwise, would not only not have a Christmas tree but would have no toy for Christmas. It's such a small sacrifice for the joy it creates.
"Toys should be new and unwrapped. Thank you, Chattanooga."
