Chattanooga Police are looking for information to help solve a theft that occurred at a local business on Sunday night.
The incident occurred at Miller Industries, a local tow truck manufacturer located at 8503 Hill Top Drive just off of Interstate 75 near Ooltewah.
An unknown suspect driving a white semi, cut the lock at the shipping area of the business, pulled onto the lot, backed up to a flatbed that was loaded with six boom-style wrecker beds, hooked the trailer to his truck and drove off, at about 11 a.m. on Sunday morning. The truck left the area driving south on Interstate 75.
The suspect vehicle is described as a white International Semi truck. The trailer stolen from Miller Industries is a 50’ semi flat bed trailer with Alabama tag A063146 with a trailer number of 5003 on it. It was loaded with six boom-style wrecker beds, four being raw aluminum, one in black fiberglass and one in white fiberglass.
The total value of the theft is approximately $200,000.
