Tennessee at Chattanooga wrestlers Dean Pavlou (149) and Jason McCrosjey (184) are set to compete in the 2010 NCAA D-I Wrestling Championship at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb., Thursday through Saturday.
Pavlou (21-11) opens with Edinboro junior Torsten Gillespie who was 28-13 during the regular season.
McCroskey, 15-12 and a two-time NCAA qualifier, will take on the winner of Central Michigan's Mike Miller and Ohio State's No. 10 Mike Pucillo who compete in a pig-tail match to start the 184 competition. McCroskey was 0-2 at the NCAAs last season at 174.

Pavlou leads the team in wins (21), was 7-6 in dual match action and 4-1 in SoCon bouts.
A member of the SoCon All-Freshman team, Pavlou won the SoCon tourney after being a No. 2 seed. His only loss in SoCon action during the regular season was a pin against No. 1 seed Savva Kostis from Appalachian State. He avenged the loss from earlier in the season with a 14-9 win in the finals.
Pavlou faced six NCAA qualifiers during the regular season, including Seth Morton (Ohio), Nick Bertucci (Purdue), Brian Stephens (Va. Tech), No. 3 Kyle Terry (Oklahoma), Tony D’Alie (Central Michigan) and Trent Washington (Northern Iowa). His lone win against this group was a 7-3 decision against Stephens at the Midlands Championship on Dec. 29.
After being an automatic qualifier in 2009 at 174 pounds, McCroskey is making his second appearance at the NCAA Championships in 2010.
The 2009 SoCon Freshman of the Year finished second in the 2010 SoCon Tournament as a No. 3 seed and received an at-large bid to the NCAAs.
McCroskey wrestled a strong schedule this season that included 12 matches against NCAA qualifiers. He defeated Liberty's Nick Knowles 7-3 at the Indiana Duals on Nov. 28 and Oklahoma's Erich Schmidtke 4-0 on Feb. 12. His last win against an NCAA qualifier was a 7-1 decision over UNC Greensboro's Andrew Saunders in the Southern Conference semifinals.
FIVE MOCS ON THE ALL-SOCON TEAM
The Mocs dominated the All-Southern Conference squad with five of the 10 honorees. Sophomore Demetrius Johnson was a repeat performer at 125. He was joined by senior Josh Statum (133), sophomore Brandon Wright (165) and freshmen Niko Brown (197) and Josh Condon (157). No other league squad had more than two representatives on the All-SoCon team.
FOUR MOCS ON THE SOCON ALL-FRESHMAN TEAM
Led by SoCon Freshman of the Year Jake Young (174), UTC had four of the 10 spots on the league's all-freshman team. Joinig Young are Dean Pavlou (149), Josh Condon (157) and Niko Brown (197).
Young was 18-8 overall and 4-1 in SoCon matches.
