He was one of 10 people of the very first group who earned the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification and has been able to maintain it for the past 25 years.
He is also the national chairman for the 1,400+ member "Nutrition, Metabolism, and Body Composition" group.
At this year's meeting he presented a session on "Kid's Nutrition: Why it is Important."
While there he was invited to participate in the International Society of Sports Nutrition for the coming year.
