) Photo by TSSAA Five Baylor players made the Division II all tournament baseball team. They were pitcher Bailey Pratt, Zane Stone, Wes Hodges, outfielder Britton Stansell and designated hitter Jordan Moffett. Father Ryan coasted through the state tournament, earlier beating Knoxville Webb 8-0 and then Montgomery Bell Academy 10-1.
The Irish went out to a 4-0 lead before Baylor struck for two in the top of the sixth. But Father Ryan put the game away with two more in the bottom of the sixth.
Chad Phillips had a triple to bring in one of the Red Raider runs.
