Thelma Laymon Morgan, 77, of Soddy-Daisy, died in an automobile accident on Monday, July 8, 2002.
Ms. Morgan was a member of the 46th Street Church of God. She was a substitute teacher at Soddy Elementary and Daisy Elementary.
Survivors include her son, Bruce Morgan of Soddy-Daisy, daughters, Janet Johnson of Soddy-Daisy, Roxie Harvie of Dunlap, TN, Peggy Henson of LA; brother, Everett Laymon of Soddy-Daisy; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel of Williamson and Sons Funeral, Soddy-Daisy, with Rev. Robert L. Williams and Rev. Herbert Chancey officiating.
Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 on Wednesday.
