Police said a woman stepped in front of a train near Noah Reid Road about 5 a.m. Friday and was struck and killed.
It was apparently a suicide, police spokesman Craig Joel said.
The woman walked onto the railroad tracks in the area between Hickory
Valley Road and Noah Reid Road and allowed herself to be stuck by a train
passing through, according to witnesses.
Her name was not being released.
