Luther "Dan" Cantrell, 65, of Harrison, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, in a local hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of Harrison and a retired Air Force veteran. He was retired from Cutter Laboratory.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Cantrell, Harrison; son, Danny Cantrell, St. Petersburg, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, David and Cindy Cantrell, Cleveland, Tenn.; brother, William K. Cantrell, Chattanooga; sisters, Mary Clark, Harrison, and Virginia Gallups, Chattanooga; Kathy Portillo, Bard, Calif.; three grandchildren, Daniel, Hollie and Josh Cantrell; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 4-6 p.m. at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Homes, 3913 Webb Road at Highway 58, 894-2012.
