Cockfighting At The Chattanooga Airport posted May 14, 2003 Cockfighting remains illegal in Chattanooga - even if it does occur on a ramp at the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport. Airport employees said six roosters got free from their containers Wednesday morning on the Northwest Airlines ramp. The free birds then started fighting, observers said. Airline workers had their hands full trying to pull the battling roosters apart and getting them all back in their cages. One airport employee said, "It was one of the craziest things I have ever seen and the most excitement we have seen at this airport in a very long time." |
