Patrice Glass Is New County Historian For Hamilton County

Patrice Glass has been named by County Mayor Claude Ramsey as the new county historian for Hamilton County.

The county historian, among other duties, is a member of the County Records Commission.

Ms. Glass, after five years at the Chattanooga Regional History Museum, recently joined the staff at Girls Preparatory School as archivist.

Ms. Glass, who was at the public library's history and genealogy department for three years, appears on the Jay Scott Show on Talk Radio three Friday afternoons a month. That show deals with interesting facts of local history.

She recently had her third child.

The previous county historians were Col. Creed Bates, Dr. James Livingood and John Wilson.
