Chargers Remain Alive In Losers Bracket

MEMPHIS -- Chattanooga Christian scored 10 runs in the fourth inning Tuesday night and defeated Unaka, 10-2, in the losers bracket of the Class A state baseball tournament.
The victory sends the Chargers (18-13) into a game at noon central time on Wednesday at Christian Brothers High School.
Clay Hindman was the winning pitcher for the Chargers. He gave up eight hits. Seth Blevins pitched the seventh.
Jonathan Cook was 3-for-4 with two RBI for CCS while Hindman and Nathan Long each had two hits. Hindman had two RBI. Elias Yandell was 1-for-4 with two RBI.
Unaka ended its season 25-16.
