CCS Baseball Loses To Huntingdon Again By Stan Crawley posted May 26, 2004 MEMPHIS -- Chattanooga Christian's Chargers would like to forget their two games against Huntingdon in the 2004 Class A state baseball tournament. After losing to Huntingdon on Tuesday, 6-2, the Chargers had to turn around and play the same team again Wednesday. Once again, Huntingdon was the better team and emerged with a 14-6 victory, sending the Chargers home to Chattanooga for the second straight season with a 1-2 tournament mark. Matt Spellin pitched the entire game for Huntingdon, giving up eight hits and five earned runs. He struck out six and walked five. Brian Nellet was 4-for-5 with four funs scored and three RBI for Huntingdon. With two hits each were Andrew Maddo, Will White and Scott Hampton. Philip Brown was 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored for CCS. Nathan Long had two RBI.
