Jokari Deshawn Pugh, 18, of 20th Street, Cleveland, Tn., has been charged in a rape at a UTC dorm.
Pugh is due to appear in Hamilton County General Sessions Court on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
He made a $5,000 bond.
Police said in the incident the day after Christmas they were dispatched to a UTC dorm on McCallie Avenue on a fire alarm.
Officers said before they arrived they were notified it was a false alarm. They said the alleged rape victim pulled the alarm to summon police.
Police said the 18-year-old female said she had left Buck Wilds on Market Street with Alphonso Pugh, brother of the man charged. The report says the female and Alphonso Pugh went to his apartment at UTC Place, where they started having sex.
Police said the victim claims the brother, Jokari Pugh, then snuck into the bedroom and started to molest her with his fingers.
The report says, "At this time the victim became highly upset and the police were notified."
UTC officers initially investigated the incident.
