Billy Land, 80, of Bakewell, died on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Land.
He was retired from DuPont, and a World War II Navy veteran. He was a member of the Highway 58 Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by three sons, Billy Land Jr., of Cookeville, TN, Michael Land, of Dunlap, TN, and Terry W. Land and Mark Steven Land, both of Bakewell; brother, Lewis Land, of Red Bank; two sisters, Maxine Williams, of South Carolina, and Betty Campbell, of Hixson; ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Barger officiating.
Interment will be in Mountain Crest Cemetery on Bakewell Mountain.
Visitation at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday.
Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, Soddy-Daisy.
