Everyone will meet at The Greenway Farm on April 9th at 9:00 am and return to the farm on April 10th by 5:00 pm.
You will be taken to the River Gorge Trust’s private boat launch on Moccasin Bend, which is located at the mouth of the river gorge, and paddle 8.5 miles to their campsite.
You will spend the night along the banks of the TN River at Pot Point where a hearty meal, hot drinks, and campfire camaraderie will be provided. An evening paddle under the star lit sky that is framed by the towering walls of the Cumberland Plateau will be an option to those who would like to participate.
The next morning you will enjoy a hot breakfast with plenty of coffee as we break down camp, pack up our boats, and prepare for an 8-mile paddle to Sullivan’s Landing where a van will be awaiting us.
