Appalled By Isaac Jones Verdict
posted June 17, 2005

I am absolutely appalled by the verdict that was reached in the Isaac Jones murder trial. First of all, this guy admitted to gunning down a female police officer with her own gun, telling the officers to tell "that white b_ _ _ _ to suck his d_ _ _" as she lay there in a pool of her own blood, clearly gone, and the jury can only come back with a second-degree murder charge with a 20-25 year sentence?!?

Where's the justice for the family of
Julie Jacks? I've lost a child so I know what the pain of losing a child
feels like, but I don't know the pain of losing a child to murder. I truly
feel for her family.

There should be consequences for your actions, an eye for an eye and a
tooth for a tooth. Sure he's showing remorse now, sure he's "sorry" for
what he did now - because he knew he had to face the consequences.

Justice was not served in this case -this man deserved the charge of first-degree murder with the death penalty, regardless of whether or not he was
"sorry" for his actions! Shame on the jury!
