Hamilton County Commissioner Larry Henry's proposal last week to finally fund county government and the county's school system is the first postive proposal in some time and should be looked at by all commissioners.
Mr. Henry obviously realizes the critical funding needed to keep countywide services at expected levels. He also realizes the needs in his district for more schools to alleviate overcrowding in one the county's fastest growing areas.
I know Mr. Henry will be supported in the East Brainerd and Ooltewah areas that he represents. I know I appreciate him doing the right thing for his district - no matter what others in other areas may think.
