County Parks Employees Honored For Saving Life Of Elderly Camper posted August 18, 2005 Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services will present the Life Saving Award to Hamilton County Parks and Recreation employees for providing quick emergency care to a elderly woman who was camping at Chester Frost Park. The presentation will be Friday, Aug. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chester Frost Park Pavilion. Officials said on May 12, a man from the Chester Frost camping area came running over to Parks and Recreation personnel shouting that his wife was unconscious at their campsite. The workers ran to her aid and administered emergency care until Hamilton County EMS arrived on the scene. Hamilton County EMS arrived to find the elderly woman talking and breathing on her own. Officials said, "HCEMS wants to recognize these individuals for their quick action to provide immediate care to a total stranger." |
