Littlefield Set To Choose New Fire Chief Soon Replacement Expected From Within The Department posted October 21, 2005 Mayor Ron Littlefield is set to name a new Chattanooga fire chief soon, and the new chief will likely be from within the department. The retirement of current Chief Jim Coppinger is effective next Friday. Todd Womack of the mayor's office said Mayor Littlefield is reviewing a number of resumes. He said, "The mayor hopes to name a replacement from within the department." |
