Education Expo Is Jan. 21
posted January 12, 2006

Sunny 92.3 and 96-5 The Mountain will present the Fourth Annual Education Expo on Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Chattanooga Trade & Convention Center from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The Education Expo is absolutely free to the public and will highlight education from pre-school through college. Approximately 75 schools and programs from the Tennessee Valley and surrounding states will be participating in this year's event.

Exhibitors include not only traditional schools and colleges, but also summer camps, extracurricular providers, healthcare, safety, financial planning, tutoring, special needs and many others.

Station General Manager Gary Downs said, “In today’s changing society the education of our children continues to be one of the foremost issues in the minds of parents. The tremendous response to our previous expos clearly demonstrates the concern of area parents to provide their children with quality education and enrichment. January is the perfect time to get a head start on fall registration and summer camp enrollment and we are pleased to showcase the many excellent educational options available in our area at this time.”

Booth spaces are still available. For more information call WDEF/WDOD at (423) 321-6200 and speak to Cynthia Kennemore, Event Coordinator.
