Weed Man Chattanooga, together with Lawn Enterprises, provides residential and commercial lawn care services. They include fertilization, weed control, aeration, overseeding, surface insect control, disease control and liming.
The new owners attended intensive training in Toronto at Weed Man’s American franchise headquarters. At the 12-day workshop, they learned every aspect of the business from sales and marketing to turf technology and fertilizer applications.

Weed Man is the fastest growing lawn care franchise in the country. It operates through a sub-franchising system where the rights to large geographic territories are purchased, sub-divided into dealerships and sold individually.
Weed Man started in Toronto in 1970. It began selling Canadian franchises in 1976. By the mid-eighties, all Canadian franchises were sold.
In 1996, Turf Holdings, Inc. began selling Weed Man sub-franchises in the United States. The sub-franchisers have exclusive rights to sell franchises in their geographic territories. There are currently 13 sub-franchisers and 93 franchise license agreements in the United States. The current franchises cover 206 territories, which are based on population in a specific geographic area.
