The Chattanooga Affiliate of Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization presents 2006 Breast Cancer Educational Series on Thursday at6 p.m. at North River Civic Center located in Corporate Image Office Park , Suite 201 (Off Ring Rd. behind Northgate Mall and close to the post office)
Dr. Brooke Daniel, oncologist will present "Highlights from the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium."
The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium is the largest and most respected medical symposium on breast cancer in the U.S. Thousands of doctors come from all over the world come to the session to hear about ground breaking research.
Dr. Daniel, who attended the symposium, will give us an overview
of some of the important resentations that will affect future treatment and
follow-up for breast cancer survivors
The Y-ME Breast Cancer Educational Series features presentations on topics related to the diagnosis, treatment and recovery of breast cancer. The informal sessions provide opportunities to ask questions of the doctors and other medical professionals making the presentations.
Breast cancer survivors, their family and friends, medical professionals, and students are invited to attend the free sessions.
