Officials at the Lookout Valley Wal-Mart said an employee admitted stealing money and merchandise totaling $2,900.
Both Cynthia Fraley and her father were arrested.
Police said the father had been returning items stolen by his daughter and getting refunds.
It was found that Ms. Fraley had been told to stay away from Wal-Mart in 2001 for shoplifting.
Officials of Koch Foods said an employee was terminated last Dec. 15, but he had kept a company fuel card.
It was found that the employee had run up a bill of over $8,000 on the card over the last several months in a variety of locations.
Police were trying to locate the former employee.
Police were called to N. Hickory Street after Jeri Houston said her ex-husband, Darien Houston, was back bothering her again. She said this time he broke out her two bedroom windows and slashed two of her tires.
An officer said while he was interviewing Ms. Houston, Darien Houston called twice. While getting warrants against him, Ms. Houston called and said he was back. Officers went to the scene and spotted him, then gave chase. He kept running and jumping over fences, but was finally caught and charged.
It was also found he had outstanding warrants for aggravated burglary, theft over $500 and vadalism.
On Highland Drive, during the night there were at least four mail boxes destroyed and several garbage cans knocked over. A city no parking sign was knocked down.
A resident said she suspects that a rope was tied to the mail boxes and they were pulled down.
An instructor for a driving class said a female student was driving on E. 38th Street when she struck a large rock that was in the middle of the road.
It caused the driver side front tire to blow out, but no one was injured.
