Christine Lawrence, 71, previously of New Orleans, LA, died on Thursday, April 27, 2006, in a Chattanooga hospital.
She was preceded in death by her spouses, Andrew Oliver, Edward Evans and Roy Lawrence; parents, Walter and Cora Lockett; sisters, Hattie Dandridge and Lizzie B. Samuels; and granddaughter, Tamika Swain.
She is survived by her sons, Andrew (Patricia) Oliver and Anthony (Nanette) Oliver; daughter, Melody Oliver, all of New Orleans; grandchildren, Addae Oliver, Anthony Jamaul Oliver Jr., Nihja Oliver, Jesse Oliver, Janae Oliver, Shawn Bastian, Skye Oliver and Azure Oliver; great-grandchildren, Iesha Lawrence, Tiane Oliver, Anthony Tyrese Oliver III and Chad Woods; brothers, Howard Lockett, of St. Louis, MS, and Edker Lockett, of New Orleans, LA; sister, Betty (Henry) Russell, of New Orleans; and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Adams Sr. officiating.
The body will lie in state after noon Monday at the funeral home.
