David Leslie Hendricks, 44, of Hixson, died on Friday, May 26, 2006.
David was a native of the Air Force Academy in Colorado and had been a resident of the Hixson area for the past 27 years. He was a 1979 graduate of Hixson High School where he participated in basketball and baseball. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel Bernice and A. J. Hendricks.
He is survived by his two children, Tessa Ann (Dustin) Shropshire; and Anastazia Hendricks; two grandchildren, Bradley Colton and Andrew Blake Shropshire; brother, Ira Jay Hendricks, Panama City, FL, and a sister, Hazel LaRain Potter, Chattanooga; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist.
