posted August 17, 2006

A Chattanooga jury on Thursday found Nashville attorney Perry March guilty of second-degree murder in the slaying of his wife, Janet, a decade ago.

The jury, chosen in Chattanooga and bused to Nashville for the trial of the highly-publicized case, deliberated just under two days.

March was also convicted of abusing a corpse and tampering with evidence.

He faces 15-25 years at 85 percent for the second-degree murder.

He earlier got years at 30 percent for theft, conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation to commit murder.
