It was parked at 633 Chestnut St. Tony Banks said his car was parked in a gravel lot behind the UTC Student Housing on University Place when someone broke the driver side passenger window. Damage was estimated at $300. John Hughes said he parked his vehicle at Fairway Outdoor Advertising on W. 28th Street and later found it had been stolen. He said the vehicle was unlocked and the keys were under the driver's seat. Marshawn Harris said he and another male, known only as "Dude," got in a fight over a female. Mr. Harris, who wound up at Parkridge Hospital, said he lost the fight but "as far as he is concerned, the matter is over." There were "two small mice sinking their teeth into a ranch dressing packet over by the drive through window." |
