Award-winning show airs Saturday & Sunday

Tennessee's Wild Side, the outdoor show sponsored by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, is now a lot easier to watch. WTCI Channel 45 has expanded the Wild Side airings, and moved the show to much more "viewer-friendly" time frame. Previously the show aired only at 6:30 am on Sunday.
Now however, Kevin Lusk, the Director of Public Information and Community Outreach for WTCI says, "Wild Side will air on Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. and Sundays at 12:30 p.m. Until the end of September we'll also be airing Wild Side on Fridays at 8:30 pm."
This Saturday and Sunday Tennessee's Wild Side viewers can look forward to segments on the new, American-made "Buckthorn Cammo," some unexpected thrills "Fishing With Kids," an update on the endangered sturgeon in Tennessee, and the "Knoxville Bird Walk."

Tennessee Wild Side is in its sixth year. Wild Side has been the recipient of several regional Emmy Awards. The show received the “Communicator of the Year” Award from the Tennessee Wildlife Federation. And was named the “best outdoors show in North America” by the Association of Conservation Information,” a non-profit association of information and education professionals representing state, federal and Canadian agencies and private conservation organizations.
