KNOXVILLE -- The University of Tennessee Athletics Department announced Monday that Vol defensive back Inquoris "Inky" Johnson will travel to the Mayo Clinic on Tuesday to meet with a team of doctors on Thursday for tests and evaluations that will determine the next step for him.

"Inky is working with the best doctors in the world,” head coach Phillip Fulmer said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family as he continues on the path to recovery."

"I am very appreciative of the support and care that UT has provided for me and my family during this process,” Johnson said. “I have a great attitude about seeing the specialists at the Mayo Clinic and am hopeful for great results.”
