Thank you, Joe Dumas, for the opportunity to point out five reasons to support Zach Wamp for re-election to Congress.
5. Zach Wamp was one of the most respected and successful commercial real estate brokers in the Chattanooga area before being elected to Congress. He served on the executive committee of the Chamber of Commerce for three years, chairman of the Small Business Council, the executive committee of the Boy Scouts, more than a dozen important boards, won numerous awards in business and community involvement, served as the chairman of the Republican Party at the local and regional level, was a leader in his church and in all aspects of this community for years.
4. Zach Wamp supports a strong and consistent foreign policy, including standing up against the Islamic Jihadists on the rise across the world to protect and defend our way of life. He is totally committed to every person in our armed forces, past and present, and realizes we must prevail in Iraq or the world will be even more dangerous.
3. Zach Wamp has one of the strongest 2nd Amendment records in the history of the United States Congress. Period. Your information here is as flawed as your assessment of Mr. Benedict’s accomplishments in business.
2. Zach Wamp has a 12-year record of fiscal responsibility that Tennesseans can all be proud of. While the country has met the challenges of 9/11, Katrina, recession, and continuing war against the Jihadists, Congressman Wamp has fought to limit spending and reduce the deficit while growing revenues through sound tax policies.
1. Zach Wamp is a man of strong character and great personal integrity who admitted himself he made a mistake in signing the term limits pledge. We need his leadership and unmatched work ethic in the 3rd District. This decision should be crystal clear.
