Charles Love Gets Another Sentencing Delay posted October 25, 2006 A Memphis judge has again granted a delay in sentencing for former Hamilton County School Board member Charles Love. The sentencing on Love's bribery guilty plea earlier was moved back to Nov. 8. and now it is moved to August of next year. Attorney Bryan Hoss made the request, saying Love is an anticipated government witness against Sen. Ward Crutchfield, who is also charged with bribery in the Tennessee Waltz sting. The Crutchfield trial in Memphis has been put back to next July. Attorney Hoss said Love is working at an undisclosed site out of state. |
