The Friends of Moccasin Bend National Park are hosting a lecture by Douglas R. Cubbison, Civil War historian, on Monday at 7 p.m.
Mr. Cubbison is currently Command Historian with the 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y. He has written comprehensive preservation and interpretation plans for many Civil War sites, including Moccasin Bend.
The lecture will be held in the Tennessee Aquarium auditorium (members' entrance), and is free and open to the public.
