Tennessee Temple's Seth Skogen Commits To Furman posted November 20, 2006 Tennessee Temple wide receiver Seth Skogen has committed to continue his football career at Furman. The announcement came on Monday. Skogen, a Mr. Football finalist this year, led his team to a perfect 10-0 regular season. The Crusaders ended their season in the Class A state quarterfinals after two playoff wins. The Crusaders are coached by Steve Beard and Seth's father, Kevin Skogen. Seth has one younger brother on the team, sophomore Joey Skogen. Older brothers Caleb and Jacob are currently playing basketball at Covenant College after transfering from Mercer last year. The Class A Mr. Football will be announced next Monday. Seth was also a Mr. Basketball finalist last year. |
