Patti Giles of Siskin Children’s Institute presented the Remodelors Council of the Home Builders Association of Southern Tennessee with the People’s Choice Award from Siskin’s “Project Playhouse” competition that was held on Nov. 19 at the Chattanooga Market.

The Remodelors Council playhouse, “Fairyland,” was designed as a contemporary castle complete with turrets and stained glass windows. Measuring 6’ by 10’, the playhouse also featured stucco siding and a tongue and groove double swinging door.

The Remodelors Council team of builders included Lou Dittmar, Larry and Judy Giacomozzi, Bob Hugeley, Pi Keoosayasonh, Ethan Moore, Tim Swafford and Odus Sweetin.

The winning bid for the playhouse was over $3,000.

Besides the hard work and dedication to building the playhouse, the Remodelors Council also chose to be a Cape Cod-level sponsor for this event. Siskin’s Children Institute raised over $9,000 and the money will go directly to the Institute to help the children and their families.

Siskin Children’s Institute is a leader in serving children with special needs, their families and the professionals who touch their lives.

The Remodelors Council represents and serves the interests of its remodeling industry members.
