On Jan. 13, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga, and Nicole Dozier and her family will celebrate the completion of her new Habitat for Humanity home funded by Women Build.
"Women Build is an annual effort that supports the construction of a home," says John Lamb, Resource Development Manager of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga "We are grateful to Vicky Gregg and Linda Friberg for their leadership this year, and for all the support Chattanooga women who have given to this effort, which raised just short of $50,000."
Since its first Women Build in 1996, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga has completed one Women Build home each year, plus two additional homes built by women's organizations.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga is a faith-based non-profit organization working to provide simple, decent and affordable homes for low-income families. Since 1986, it has completed nearly 200 homes, thanks to community support.
