Three men are missing after a boat capsized at Nickajack Lake near the dam late Saturday night. There were five men in the boat and rescuers located two of the men in the chilly water. They were taken to a local hospital. The three men that are missing were wearing life vests, officials in Marion County said. However, crews were still looking on Sunday morning and still had not found them. The men were apparently out on a fishing trip.

Dire Budget Outlook Seen Again For Next Year
County School officials said Saturday they are considering building three new schools and merging three existing schools in a $150 million building program. The list includes consolidation of Falling Water and Ganns Middle Valley and Alpine Crest, Dupont and Rivermont elementary schools. Another new school would merge Harrison and Hillcrest elementary schools. A new elementary school is proposed south of Apison Pike and west of Ooltewah-Ringgold Road.
