Austin Pyron, a seventh grade student at New Hope Middle School, recently was named a state finalist in the Georgia River of Words Environmental Poetry and Art Competition. The River of Words contest benefits Kindergarten through 12th grade students in Georgia schools and youth organizations by encouraging art and poetry as powerful communication tools in their commitment to environmental awareness. ...
