Chattanooga Ducks Unlimited Banquet organizers have announced the various guided trips, art and merchandise (listed below) that will be available at the Ducks Ulimited Wild Game Extravaganza on Oct. 5 at the First Tennessee Pavillon (next to Finley Stadium).

  • Remington 11-87 Premier Special Edition 20-Gauge Shotgun – Remington and Ducks Unlimited present the Model 11-87 Premier as the 2006 Gun of the Year. This 20-Gauge is a follow-up to the 12-Guage that was used in 1998/99 enhanced with the same unique artwork. The satin-nickel plated receiver is custom engraved with Ducks Unlimited Mallard and Canvasback artwork and has special DU serial numbering. The stock and forearm are “Tournament Grade” American Walnut and is fitted with a black rubber recoil pad. The 28” barrel with a 3” chamber provides reliable performance with all 2 ¾ and 3” field loads. Three Rem-Choke tubes (Improved Cylinder, Modified and Full) are included. The gun comes with a full length hard case.

  • Benelli Nova 3 1⁄2” Magnum Pump Shotgun - The highly sought-after Nova Pump Shotgun 12-gauge is available to your committee in a 3 1/2" magnum that will handle all shells, from the lightest 2 3/4" through the heaviest 3 1/2". This .17 caliber Hornady Magnum Rimfire has a 21” blue-finished barrel, and comes with a 5-shot detachable magazine. The walnut stained hardwood stock has cut checkering with a DU medallion inlaid on the right side of the stock.

  • Charles Daly 3” AutoLoader – This 12 gauge auto-loader from Charles Daly in full Advantage Max-4 camo is sure to be an eye catcher at the event. It has a 28” barrel, 3” chamber, ventilated rib with front sight bead, and a black rubber recoil pad. Three screw in multi chokes (F, M, IC) are included. The Ducks Unlimited is ion the right side of the receiver along with special DU serial numbering.

  • “Got’em Dad” by Ralph McDonald - A continued favorite of the DU event attendees, Ralph McDonald has been voted the 2006 International Artist of the Year. This is his second time to win International Artist of the Year since his debut in 1979 and marks his 21st print to be featured in the DU National Art Package. Over the last 27 years his prints have generated over 20 million dollars towards wetland conservation. “Got’em Dad” is the 14th print in the Greenwing series. Over the years, these prints have helped inspire our youth in Ducks Unlimited’s volunteer ranks, as well as captured cherished memories of early childhood days in the blind.

  • “Into the Fog” by Richard Clifton - Delaware native, Richard Clifton is a self taught artist specializing in wildlife. This is his 5th appearance in the Ducks Unlimited National Package. “Into the Fog – Greenwing Teal” captures the splendor of a flock of Greenwing Teal safely making their way to a foggy marsh.

  • “Open Field Runners” by Bruce Miller - After pursuing a variety of genres, Burce Miller decided in 1981 that his love for the outdoors could be revealed in his artwork. Since that time, he has won many conservation stamp contests and awards, including he 1999 DU International Artist of the Year. “Open Field Runners” shows a pair of Whitetail deer heading for the security of a nearby treeline.

  • “Great Retrievers – Yellow Labrador – Pintails” by Jim Killen – Accomplished dog artist, Jim Killen, has once again shown his uncanny ability to recreate the genuine unwavering loyalty that emits from a skilled Labrador with his rendition of “Great Retrievers – Yellow Labrador – Pintails.” This piece marks his 19th appearance in the Ducks Unlimited National Package

  • “Backwater” by Scot Storm - Since 199 Scot Storm has received numerous awards and recognitions including being chosen for the 2005/06 Ducks Unlimited International Artist of the Year. “Backwater” illustrates a new perspective on waterfowl in flight. The vivid colors of the Wood Duck and action of this piece will bring life to any room.

  • “Return to Hay Bale” by Scot Storm - Scot Storm started his career in architecture. However his love of hunting and the outdoors inspired him to begin painting full time. “Return to Hay Bale” captures the grandeur of a flock of Redheads and a lone Canvasback gathering at a favored “honey hole”

  • “Heading South” by Richard Plasschaert – This trio of American Widgeon ducks is making their way to warmer climate and “Heading South” for the winter months. Richard Plasschaert was the winner of the 2001/02 International Artist of the Year. This marks his third appearance in the National Art Package.

  • “Mack’s Mallards” by Phillip Crowe - Wildlife artist Philip Crowe utilizes actual life experiences in his paintings to create scenes with dramatic realism in his rendition of “Mack’s Mallards.” You can almost hear the wings beat as the flock of Mallards descend upon this peaceful flooded timber

  • “Waterfowling Hot Spots, Canada Geese at Currituck Sound” by David Maass – Across North America, David Maass has been commissioned to capture the most popular spots for waterfowling. Maass, an avid outdoorsman, created this striking piece, illustrating Canada Geese in the Currituck Sound of North Carolina. This area is known for it’s population of fish and wildlife and is a migrating path for ducks, Canada Geese and other birds. This marks the second piece in the Waterfowling Hot Spots collection.

  • “Family Outing” by Shae Ingils - British Columbian Shae Ingals has been an artist all his life. He recreates a truly heartwarming scene in “Family Outing.” Set against the darkness of the forest, the majestic bearing of the bull elk centers the image as he stands alongside his mate and their calf in a meadow.

  • “2006 Federal Duck Stamp” by Sherie Russell Meline - Sherie Russell Meline is the 2006/07 Federal Duck Stamp winner with the soft redition of the Ross’ Goose. Sherie has won numerous stamp and art competitions by utilizing the vignette style that she has mastered. Since 1934 the Federal duck stamp has generated more thean $670 million and has acquired more than 5.2 million acres of important wetlands and associated upland habitat. Includes a DU medallion, an exclusive feature for DU events only.

  • 2006 DU Stamp Collection – Scot Storm, Ducks Unlimited’s 2005/06 International Artist of the Year, was commissioned to create the 23rd DU Stamp Collection. Storm captures the beauty of two Buffleheads in flight. The collection includes the stamp and print, stamp and medallion and the print and decoy. All three pieces are double matted.

  • “Hidden Treasures” by Ralph McDonald – Realization that the Ivory Billed Woodpecker exists in an Arkansas wildlife refuge, sent shock waves through the conservation world. Thought extinct for over a half century, researchers have never given up the “rediscovery” of this magnificient bird. This piece has been eloquently framed and matted, and features a complimenting woodpecker cameo.

  • Mallard Decoy - The Mallard is North America’s most recognized species of waterfowl. This exquisite piece is cast from an original carving by Jett Brunet (Bru-nay) and painted in exacting detail. Features a Ducks Unlimited Special Edition Medallion inlaid in the bottom of the bird and the carver’s signature is shown on the underside of the bird’s tail. Approximate dimensions are 14 ½” by 7” by 8 ½”

  • Flying Drake Wood Duck Decoy – This exclusive Ducks Unlimited Limited Edition sculpture is of a stunning Drake Wood Duck in flight is the perfect wall accent for any outdoor enthusiast’s home, office or cabin. Hand cast and hand painted from an original woodcarving by Master Carver Sam Nottleman, each sculpture is meticulously reproduced to capture every intricate detail of the original carving. Includes a stand for easy display at the event.

  • “Into Flight” Pintail Pair Decoys - “Into Flight” freezes in time, the split second this graceful Pintail pair launches into the air from their quiet backwater hideaway. Sam and Lilly Nottleman created this hand painted Ducks Unlimited exclusive Limited Edition sculpture from an original woodcarving composition, with a signed certificate of authenticity on the left bottom. The drake Pintail comes with two removable tail feathers.

  • Black Duck Decoy – Cast from an original carving by Master Carver John Geworth, this preening Black Duck will be a big attraction to your decoy enthusiast. This limited edition has been recreated in precise detail, this highlighting the grandeur of this species plumage.

  • Canada Goose Decoy – Rustic elegance and charm is apparent in this Canada Goose decoy, reproduced from the original decoy carved by Hershey Kyle. He designed this handsome piece exclusively for Ducks Unlimited and all that share his love for this great bird.

  • Flying Mallard Pair - This unique design of flying decoys is sure to be a hit at any DU event. Carver Mike Borrett specializes in flying waterfowl and has carved these life-sized birds especially waterfowl and has carved these life-sized birds especially for Ducks Unlimited events. They are equipped with ceiling grid clips, 35lb test line and coast lock swivels to easily hang from a suspended ceiling. Included with each bird is a clamp on shepards hook for mounting on to a table or railing.

  • Canvasback Drake “Shooting Rig” Collection Decoy – The Canvasback marks the third species of waterfowl to be created in the “Shooting Rig Collection” by World Champion carver Dick Rhode. Each decoy will feature a Ducks Unlimited crest medallion, artist signature in the keel and have an acrylic base for display. As an added bonus, each purchaser of the Canvasback drake will have the first opportunity to purchase the Canvasback hen decoy to complete the pair. Information will be included with each decoy, giving the details of the program.

  • “High Country” Deer Sculpture – Cast in resin and alabaster, this whitetail deer was sculpted by artist Greg Peltzer. The limited edition piece was designed for Ducks Unlimited events and features an “exclusive” medallion on the bottom of the base. Measurements are 9 ½” x 13 ½”
