Ruby Reddick
Ruby Bell Reddick, 93, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, February 1, 2016 and was reunited with her late husband, Lem.
She was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. Ruby owned and operated her own beauty salon at her home for many years. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Lem Reddick.
Ruby is survived by her two sons, Lance (Pam) Reddick and Larry Reddick; five grandchildren, Justin (Brooke) Reddick, Jordan, Tyler, Storey and McClain Reddick; one great-granddaughter, Katherine Reddick; siblings, Carlos (Martha) Bell of Thomasston, GA, Shirley Fifield of McDonald, GA, Dorothy Bell of Lagrange, GA, Wanda Hammock of Barnsville, GA, and Delaney Bell of Atlanta, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4 and 1-2 p.m. on Friday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A celebration of Ruby’s life will follow at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, at the North Chapel with Reverend Bert Jones and Reverend Bill Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Life Care at Red Bank, for all their love and caring given to Ruby over the past seven years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruby’s name to Red Bank Baptist Church, 4800 Dayton Blvd., Red Bank, Tn. 37415.
