The 41st annual Spring Tennessee State Numismatic Society coin and paper money collectibles convention and show will be held at Camp Jordan in East Ridge (I-75 exit 1) March 7-9.

Officials said, "Admission is free. Every person who attends the show will receive an elongated cent specifically designed for this Spring TSNS show by Ray Dillard.

"There will be over 147 dealer tables, more than ever before, that will offer millions of dollars of coins, currency, tokens, medals and jewelry for sale from recent state quarters to rare U. S. coins."

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The bourse chairman is Gayle Pike; PO Box 11705; Memphis, TN 38111, or e-mail pikegk@aol.com

Bob Hartje will host the young numismatist collectors meeting at 1 p.m. Saturday. The young collectors will display their favorite collection and give a talk about their coins, tokens or currency. Each YN will get a few dollars, donated by the dealers, to buy a coin or other numismatic item with some facts about the item. The YN will return to the meeting and tell the story about the item they purchased.

The public is invited to bring in any coins or paper money they want to learn more about to the show. Knowledgeable expert Tennessee State Numismatic Society bourse dealers from all areas of numismatics will be represented. These bourse dealers are interested in buying as well as selling numismatic coins, tokens, medals and currency, it was stated.

Exhibits of rare coins and paper money will on display. Awards will be given for junior and senior exhibitors. Applications for exhibiting can received from Jim Lusk, PO Box 5572, Ft. Oglethorpe, GA 30742, 423-842-3667, or e-mail exhibits@tsns.com.
