Chuck Pyle Includes Chattanooga On Spring Tour

  • Monday, March 24, 2003

A finely-tuned Chuck Pyle has announced dates for his upcoming Spring Fever Tour. The tour, which begins March 20 and runs through May 26, will see the road-ready Zen Cowboy take on 17 cities - including Chattanooga - in eight states.

Recently returned from appearances at the National Folk Alliance Conference (Feb. 6-9) in Nashville, Pyle said he is more than ready for the upcoming tour. "I had a great time at the Folk Alliance," says Pyle. "Folks were really giving of their time and attention and I heard some great music as well."

In addition to six scheduled performances, he was also invited to give a private performance for the staffs of Country Weekly and Country Music Magazine.

Best known for his songs "Other Side Of The Hill," "Jaded Lover" and "Cadillac Cowboy," this talented songwriter and musician is making headlines with his seventh and most recent release, AFFECTED BY THE MOON (Bee ‘n’ Flower Records). Critics are praising AFFECTED BY THE MOON in Acoustic Guitar, Country Music Magazine and Dirty Linen, and hailing Pyle as the bright new light of the Western Acoustic Country /Folk music scene.

Pyle has traveled the world, bringing his special brand of music to venues as diverse as folk festivals, cowboy poetry retreats and intimate theaters. His unique guitar style is responsible for his attendance at such prestigious events as the Puget Sound Guitar Workshop and the Swannanoa Gathering in North Carolina.
